Welcome,

Ms Olympia, Lenda Murray is hosting the 9^th Annual NPC Lenda Murray Bodybuilding, Figure and Bikini Championships in Portsmouth , Virginia, promoting health and fitness in the community. Murray is the world’s most successful female bodybuilder to date: an eight-time winner of the Ms Olympia title, the highest achievement in professional female bodybuilding. Her wealth of experience in athletics and entertainment makes her a worthy vessel to promote the event, giving athletes recognition for getting into the best shape of their lives.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Willett Hall in the city of Portsmouth. The event is a national qualifier, sanctioned by the National Physique Committee. National qualifiers attract athletes from around the country in an attempt to qualify for either the USA, Nationals, North American or Universe competitions where they can obtain professional status. The production standards are nothing less than spectacular and are designed to make every contestant feel like a star. Broadway stage designers and night club music lighting experts create a dazzling backdrop of lights, music and staging, providing spectators with an unforgettable entertainment experience.

On this site you will find an Entry Application for competitors and a Sponsor/Exhibitor Agreement for potential sponsors. For the variety of sponsorship levels available, please contact us directly for information. We estimate that more than 2000 will be in attendance and over 100 athletes from around the country competing. Nationally recognized magazines, Muscle and Fitness and Flex are proud sponsors and will be in attendance to cover the event. This is a perfect opportunity for both athlete and sponsor to showcase their talents and services.

A NATIONAL QUALIFIER

Open Men-Top 2 in each weight class, Open Women-Top 3 in each weight class, Open Physique Men and Open Physique Women—Top 3 in height class will be qualified for USA and NATIONALS; Top 5 in height class for all other national competitions. Open Figure-Top 5 in each height class qualify for:: Jr. USA, and Team Universe; Top 3 in each height class qualify for all other National Competitions. Open Bikini: Top 5 in each height class, Masters-qualify for the Master division at North America simply by competing in this event.

ELIGIBILITY, RESIDENCY AND AGE REQUIREMENTS

The Lenda Murray Bodybuilding, Figure & Bikini Championships are open to all NPC athletes. All competitors must have a current NPC card, proof of age (copy of birth certificate or Driver’s License) evidencing that they will be of eligible age on the day of the event. Age for Masters Men is 40-49 years, Grand Masters Men is 50 and older, Masters Women Bodybuilding is 35 and older. NPC cards will be available at check-in for $100. Please bring a $100 check or money order only (CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED) made payable to “NPC of the USA”.
